Las Vegas-based alt-singer/songwriter, Michael Richter, is emblematic of raw and sincere storytelling coupled with electrifying live stage charisma. A product of a musically enriched lineage, his grandfather notably collaborated with the esteemed outlaw country artist, Waylon Jennings. However, it was the tragic passing of his mother in 2014 that catalyzed Richter’s immersion into songwriting—a therapeutic channeling of grief and love. His tribute, “2014”, is a centerpiece of his debut album, Live at 11th Street, which was intimately recorded in a solo-acoustic ambiance at Downtown Las Vegas's 11th Street Records.

Since stepping onto the performance scene in 2018, Richter's authenticity has resonated, creating a fervent and loyal fan base—a testament to which is evident from his album cover featuring many from this community. His musical journey has led him to notable stages, including an opening act for renowned artists like Jason Mraz and Dean Lewis at Mix 94.1’s Spring Fling held at The Theater at Virgin Hotels.
